Three days at Holyrood

In March we held a three day information event in the Scottish Parliament members' lobby. The aim was to make MSPs aware of the issues, challenges and successes of Scotland’s co-operative sector.
Each day we focussed on co-operative solutions in particular sectors:
- financial services, inclusion and education
- energy, agriculture and rural enterprise
- employees, consumers, food and drink
The event gave us an opportunity to share knowledge with elected representatives. The result was a significant level of cross-party interest in CDS and the co-operative sector.
Our partners in this were: Scottish Enterprise, Dunfermline Building Society, Scotwest Credit Union, Co-operative Education Trust Scotland, Energy4All, SAOS, John Lewis Partnership/Waitrose, The Co-operative Group and ScotMid.
