Ivan Broussine, Chair
Ivan brings a breadth of economic development experience in public, government and private sectors. Formerly, he was the founding Chief Executive of the tourism industry's lobby group, and the Scottish Tourism Forum. He has worked in many sectors, with past experience of working with the co-operative sector.
Ray Donnelly
Ray is a management consultant and has published over 50 books and articles on management and on co-operation. He is chairman of the First Scottish University Credit Union Ltd, has been a member of the Treasury task force on credit unions and of the DTI working party on the social economy.

Graeme Dalziel
Chief Executive of Dunfermline Building Society. Graeme was named Scotland's Finance Director of the Year in 2000 and in 2004 was awarded Scottish Business in the Community's prestigious HRH The Prince of Wales' Ambassador Award. He is past Chairman of the board of Lauder College, Dunfermline and is currently a member of the Council of CBI Scotland.

James Graham
Chief Executive of SAOS, the voice of Scotland's agricultural co-op sector. SAOS has helped pioneer the development of farmers' markets and co-operative rural labour management. James has many years hands-on development experience spanning Scotland's farming and forestry products.

Dame Pauline Green
Chief Executive of Co-operatives UK. Before becoming an MEP, Pauline worked as Assistant Parliamentary Secretary for European Affairs for the Co-operative Movement. She was appointed a Dame Commander of the British Empire in the Queen's New Year's Honours List 2002 for services to the development of the European Union and to the Co-operative Movement.

Linda Hanna
Director, Enterprise Services, Scottish Enterprise. Linda established a career in the food production sector before joining Scottish Enterprise in 1991, when she worked on business development in Ayrshire. In her current position she is working to change the way that business services are offered to new-starts and existing companies through the Business Gateway.

Iain Macdonald
Director General of the International Co-operative Alliance. Iain is an observer to the International Labour Office Governing Body and the UN Economic and Social Council. He is Vice-Chair of the Board of the Committee for the Advancement and Promotion of Co-operatives (COPAC) and is on the USA's Freedom from Hunger's Ambassadors Council. Iain also worked for 17 years on Strathclyde Regional Council where much of his work involved the development of community and co-operative enterprise.

Calum MacPherson
Head of Operations, Highlands & Islands Enterprise (HIE). After graduating in Law from the University of Aberdeen, Calum worked for three years in tax consultancy, mainly with the oil industry. He then joined the HIE network, taking on a number of roles, including five years as the Head of Business Development within a Local Enterprise Company (LEC).

Martin Meteyard
Martin has worked in the co-operative movement since 1983. He was a member of GreenCity Wholefoods, becoming its first general manager, until 1997 when he became Scottish Secretary of what is now the Co-operative Group. He chaired the board of Cafedirect, the UK's leading fairtrade company, from 1998 to 2005, and also Co-operation & Mutuality Scotland for several years. He was a founder director of The Phone Co-op. He is currently a freelance consultant.

Andrew Murphy
Managing Director, John Lewis Partnership, Edinburgh & Aberdeen. As the group's senior director in Scotland, Andrew reports directly to the board, accountable for an annual turnover in excess of £150m. He headed-up the team which delivered the £35 million redevelopment of John Lewis, Edinburgh 2002-04. The focus of Andrew's role is strategic and outward facing, with much time being devoted to building relationships with the public sector and interest groups.

Hollis Smallman
President Scotmid. Hollis has extensive co-operative experience working with the Scottish Midland Co-op Society (Scotmid) for 45 years; he took early retirement in 2003. He was elected President of Scottish Midland in May 2005 and is also Chairman of the Trustees Pension Plan, Joint Venture Boards, Search and General Purposes Committees. He is a member of the Co-operatives UK working group on Social & Co-operative Performance Indicators.

Robin Stewart
Robin has been active in many Co-operatives throughout his adult life. He is currently a Director of The Co-operative Group and a Director of Co-operatives UK He is also a member of the Board of Management of The Co-operative College. He serves on the Board of the Scottish Fairtrade Forum and of CMS and is Vice-chair of CETS.
